BigPicture.Training wants to give you the tools to understand and work with your dog. We offer a range of services from group classes to in-home sessions. These services are helpful for first time and experienced dog owners.
How to pick the right service for your dog:
Group classes are a great opportunity for your puppy to interact with other puppies in a safe, controlled environment. They will also learn to work with you in the presence of other classmates.
Group classes may not be the best fit for every dog. Some dogs are uncomfortable around new people/dogs/environments. Don’t fret, in-home sessions are available! These sessions can include all the members of the family and/or one-on-one sessions between the trainer and dog.

Tele-Training Sessions:
Due to COVID-19 first sessions are currently held remotely
I am currently conducting the first session as tele-training. Tele-training is very similar to a group class except that it is tailored specifically to your needs. I often demonstrate with my dog, then guide you through the exercises. Along with your goals, we will also focus on key foundation skills. The foundation behaviors focus on attention during distractions and easy to perform behaviors in distracting/stressful situations.
Outdoor in-person sessions can occur when the dog has a few key behaviors down. Some teams need additional tele-training sessions to work on the foundation behaviors. Having these behaviors down lets us jump right into in-person training sessions and work on the more advanced behaviors or concerning issues.
